With over 30 years of experience serving Barnstaple and the surrounding communities (Bideford, Braunton, Ilfracombe, South Molton, Torrington), Acupuncture North Devon is pleased to announce a relocation of our Barnstaple clinic, from Litchdon Street to the Tarka Clinic, effective July 1st, 2024.

MARILYN RICHARDS and HEIDI O’NEILL, with their combined experience of over 40 years, will continue providing acupuncture services at the centrally located Tarka Clinic (just behind Marks & Spencer’s) in Barnstaple. This move ensures minimal disruption to your ongoing treatment plan. At Acupuncture North Devon, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. Marilyn and Heidi understand the importance of choosing a qualified and reputable acupuncture clinic.

We are both members of the British Acupuncture Council, the UK’s largest regulated body for practitioners of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.

We adhere to all the strict safety guidelines of our governing body the BAcC, (British Acupuncture Council) The only one approved by the PSA, (Professional Standards Authority) which enables GPs to refer directly to us. Therefore, it follows strictly all NHS and Government guidelines in terms of safe practice and putting our patients’ safety as paramount. In addition, there is a safety policy for the Clinic;

The Council ensures its members practice skills are up to date and maintained by mandatory continuing professional development; adherence to the Councils Code of Ethics and Safe Practice; compliance with current Health and Safety legislation and full Medical Malpractice and Public Liability Insurance cover.
