Privacy Policy

This sets out the basis upon which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us may be processed by ACUPUNCTURE NORTH DEVON.

Your privacy is important to us and we will treat any personal information you provide us as confidential and this will only be used and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We promised to look after your personal information and we will not sell any information about you to any third party.

We require patient Medical history to be recorded to aid treatment for patients and to keep a record of all treatments and for the progress of each individual patient’s ongoing health.

We require Name, Address, Telephone Number, Email, in order to identify the patient and for the receptionists or Acupuncturists to make appointments and provide receipts if required by individual patients.

Only with your consent, will we share information (verbally or written) with other health professionals to allow continuity of care. The Receptionists have no access to any individual’s medical history whatsoever unless it is copy typing a letter to another professional with your permission.

This information will be retained securely by Marilyn Richards and Heidi O’Neill for a period of time such as complies with Professional, Legal and Insurance requirements.
